about

I moved to Seattle a few years ago after living in the Bay area for 16 years. My first love in life was photography but I left it after discovering my second love, food. I’ve cooked professionally for the last 15 years, everything from owning a food truck, to fine dining catering, to being a culinary director for a caviar company where I developed recipes and private label products for chefs such as Jacques Pepin. After starting a family and moving to Seattle I felt the strong urge to get back behind the camera shooting what I love most, food. But most of all telling stories about the lifestyle of food, gathering and eating. I believe a great meal is not just about the food, it’s just as much about the company and the surroundings.

I split my time between Seattle and my little home on Lummi Island where I’ve taken up gardening and where I host dinners and culinary retreats focused on what grows on the land. I am happiest when I am bringing people around a table for a meal and building community.

My photography can be seen in print and online in various places including Amazon, Edible Seattle, Coastal Living Magazine, Marin Magazine, Huffington Post, Edible Marin, Gilt Taste and more.  Check out my client page for professional work.
